Wow is all I can say! This tool is a monster!
It actually bugs me that so many "SEO Tools", do nothing to promote your site, most often nickel and dime scripts that just tell you information that you already know or should know.
Haikona.com on the other hand is a free SEO tool that actually does what it says on the box.
The "dossier" builds a base of free links to your site from domain monitoring services, this means that for searches on your domain name will bring up a bunch of free services to fill the search result behind your brand website.
So How Can This Help My SEO?
Well it's debatable however, filling up brand search results can be particularly useful in many key industry sites and particular sticky situations.
For example, when a competitor / customer / hacker / ex-employee slams your site in a blog post or a forum, or some nasty press hits the online media. People searching for your brand are quite likely to see your dirty laundry, as it becomes "relevant" information on your website according to popular search engines.
Alternatively you have an affiliate program with hundreds of affiliates trying to rank in search results for your brand names.
Every time a new customer comes through the door you are having to fork out to the affiliate, simply because they closed/targeted some obscure backwoods search result on your brand name.
Haikona.com's dossier tool helps reel in all those valued customer brand searches by squashing negative press off the first page with "domain services", so that you don't lose prospective customers from negative press or wily affiliates. There are multiple examples on the Haikona site however to see the full effect on www.broadprospect.com we may have to wait a few days for Google to index (I have happily tested it on other domains that can't be mentioned)
Is That All
The odd thing is that this "dossier" effect is not at all what I intended.
The real "selling" point for me was the "Top Content" tool.
It's stupidly simple : just links to all the pages from your home page. I mean who's going to turn down free-organic-natural-relevant back links.?
The rest of the tools I could take or leave / leave or take. I'm sure they have merit, but I have yet to see it.
One thing is for-sure tho, I will be keeping an eye on this site. Definitely worth of a post.
